Protein Packed Green Smoothie Recipe

Ok so this is my go to green smoothie that I have mostly every morning which not only tastes delicious but is full of nutrients and the high protein content keeps me fuller for longer and keeps my sugar cravings under control (most of the time!):

  • 1 cup/250ml of a milk of your choice (I use almond milk…preferably homemade - see my home-made almond milk recipe for instructions)

  • A handful of frozen mango or pineapple

  • One banana

  • 1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds (about a handful)

  • 1/2 cup of hulled hemp seeds

  • Big handful of organic washed spinach

Put them all in a high speed blender (I use and highly recommend a Vitamix…def worth the investment if you are a healthy eating junkie :-))

Pour into the vessel of your choice and enjoy immediately, it won’t keep for very long!
